Information
Our courses have a duration of 6 days. The training starts with an orientation briefing after boarding the boat on Saturday at 12:00, and theoretical and practical training is provided between 09:00 and 18:00 every day. The training for the week is completed with disembarkation from the boat on Friday at 12:00.
The cabins have double beds, and there are single beds in the saloon. During the summer months, it is also possible to sleep in the cockpit or on the deck. You can stay on the boat throughout the course. Participants who do not want to share a cabin can request to have a private cabin for an additional fee. If you want to receive training with your own group, it is also possible to charter the entire boat.
The day starts with a 1-hour walk or go swimming. Afterwards, we have breakfast and proceed to our theoretical lessons at 10:00. As the wind picks up, we go out to sea and sail approximately 20-25 NM to reinforce our practical skills. Before sunset, we moor in a bay or sometimes anchor in open water. It is possible to prepare and have meals on the boat in the evening, or you can dine at restaurants in the bays.
Participants who want to receive a certificate are eligible to receive it if they achieve a passing grade (at least 70/100) in the theoretical and practical exams. In order to receive a certificate, participants must register in the TYF training system.
The training capacity is a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 5 people per boat. If there are not enough participants for a group of 3, the training can be postponed to another date.
Prices
The training fee is 1000 € per person.
Accommodation is provided in shared cabins for 2 people. The training fee is to be paid at the time of registration.
The fee includes accommodation on the boat, 6 days of theoretical and practical training, instructor services, exams, bed linen, blankets, hand and bath towels, final cleaning, LPG gas cylinder, transit log, and waste disposal fee. Our boats are equipped with heating systems.
Fuel expenses, meals, drinks, TYF certification fees (if requested), activities outside the boat, paid mooring fees other than Setur Marinas, and VAT are not included in the price.
Before the start of the sailing course, a weekly shopping is done, and this expense is shared equally among the participants. If meals are eaten at restaurants, the instructor is a guest of the participants.
